Bio

I was first paid to write while I was still in high school. And if the editors at Astronomy Magazine had known that their newest book reviewer was only 15, well, I suspect they’d have had some reservations about letting me write for them.

But with a byline in a respected, glossy magazine I decided there might be a future there somewhere. Since that first acceptance letter, I studied journalism in college and finished a degree in public speaking. I’ve continued to write for publication in magazines, online and in newspapers. I worked as a newspaper reporter for a few years and learned to meet deadlines, write succinctly and clearly.

And now I’m writing for businesses, non-profits and large corporations as a freelance commercial writer.
